ABOUT

Clark Swanson is an American entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio that includes ventures in consumer products, energy infrastructure, life sciences, cleantech, and digital media. As the founder and Chairman of Engineered Energy, he is once again leading an ambitious initiative to build large-scale infrastructure for high-performance computing (AI) and bitcoin mining. This effort follows his previous success in building the world’s largest bitcoin mining company, which was sold in 2021 for $1.46 billion USD. Swanson is also a founder and owner of the renowned beauty brand Halo Beauty, which has surpassed 1 million units sold. His philanthropy is centered on high-impact drug development and discovery, particularly in pioneering new cancer therapies. His work has led to the FDA approval for  human clinical trials and the development of the Swanson Plante Protocol (“SPP”) in collaboration with researchers and physicians from the Mayo Clinic and Harvard Medical School. 

CAREER

In the mid-2000’s Swanson gained notoriety as Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Blackline Safety, named one of Canada’s top 50 technology start-ups. Under his leadership the company achieved nearly $500 million in valuation and garnered numerous accolades, including IDC’s “Top 10 to Watch”, TSX 50, Profit 500, and Deloitte’s Fast 500.
